Gus is a very well grown macho showing solid bone and very good chest depth. Excellent conformation with exceptional genetic background of Caligula and Hemingway Protégé as grandparents. His GIFT Plus test report indicated a 0.5µ variation across the saddle considered superior for breeding towards reducing fibre variation over the fleece area. His average across sample SD is 3.9µ, considered highly suitable for breeding towards across sample fibre variation and reducing the incidence of coarse fibres. His average fibre diameter of 24µ is probably influenced by environmental factors, eg excellent feed. Fibre length is 120mm with a follicle density of 45.4 per square mm.
